TOUR DESCRIPTION:

The trip starts at 9 am on Day 1 from the Ketambe guesthouse by your tour guide, after breakfast we continue exploring the forest looking for Thomas Leaf Monkeys, White Handed Pigtai Gibbons Monkeys, Sumatran peacocks and of course, wild Orangutans. You can learn some basic facts about the trees, plants, local flora and fauna.

When entering the National Park, please follow our guide's rules (Listen to your guide, keep your distance from wild animals and behave calmly, do not leave rubbish in the forest).

You will hike for around 2-3 hours each morning and afternoon with snack and lunch breaks, continuing to look for wildlife and passing fantastic viewpoints in the forest and looking for wildlife. Your guide will tell you many amazing and interesting facts about the flora and fauna of the ketambe forest.

In the afternoon on Day 1 you will arrive at the Camping Ground campsite near the river where you will have time to swim in the fresh and clear river water and relax and enjoy a cup of tea/coffee while the team will prepare all night and an amazing jungle dinner by the fire open bird.

Enjoy delicious fresh local food along the way!

The next day after breakfast you will climb the Gurah hot springs.

Lunch will be served on the way, After arriving at the hot springs in the middle of the forest, where you can enjoy bathing in the warm and perfect hot springs to relax your body, it will be an extraordinary experience.
