Here you will find information about our unique jungle trekking tour program to one of the last paradises on earth.
We organize various types of jungle trekking tours in Gunung Leuser National Park, in Ketambe, Sumatra where you can observe Sumatran orangutans lying in their natural habitat.

Jungle Trekking Ketambe forest half day / 4 hours
A first introduction to Gunung Leuser National Park for tourists with limited time, families with children and people who are not capable of great physical effort.
In about 4 hours you will experience the beauty of the ketambe forest, explore the forest looking for Thomas Leaf Monkeys, White Handed Pigtai Gibbons Monkeys, Sumatran peacocks and of course wild Orangutans and many others. You can learn some basic facts about the trees, plants, flora and fauna in ketambe.
Facilities that you can get in the forest.
Includes local lunch, fresh fruit, English speaking guide team, snacks, mineral water. Gunung Leuser National Park permit, long anti-leech socks.
NOTE: minimum 2 people
If you want to do solo trekking in the forest, you are required to pay a fee for 2 people.
WHAT TO BRING:
Appropriate walking shoes, large bottle of water, medication, sun cream, backpack, socks, raincoat, swimsuit, towel, toilet paper
TOUR DESCRIPTION:
The trip starts at 9 am from the Ketambe guesthouse and ends there no later than 2 pm.
When entering the National Park, please follow our guide's rules (Listen to your guide, keep your distance from wild animals and behave calmly, do not leave rubbish in the forest).
This short trip in the forest starts with 3-4 hours of hiking into the ketambe forest area while continuing to look for wildlife, flora and fauna. After trekking we will take you back to the guesthouse in Ketambe village.
