It takes you into the woods for about 7 hours with breaks whenever you need and at a comfortable pace.
In about 7 hours you will experience the beauty of the ketambe forest, explore the forest (easily Thomas Leaf Monkeys, White Handed Pigtai Gibbons Monkeys, Sumatran peacocks and of course, Wild Orangutans and many others.) and explore the dense tropical rainforest of Gunung Leuser National Parks to create beautiful memories and take home fantastic impressions.

NOTE: minimum 2 people
If you want to do solo trekking in the forest, you are required to pay a fee for 2 people.
WHAT TO BRING:
Appropriate walking shoes, large bottle of water, medication, sun cream, backpack, socks, raincoat, swimsuit, towel, toilet paper
TOUR DESCRIPTION:
The trip starts at 9am from the Ketambe guesthouse and ends there no later than 4pm.
When entering the National Park, please follow our guide's rules (Listen to your guide, keep your distance from wild animals and behave calmly, do not leave rubbish in the forest).
The hike starts at 9am with about 6-7 hours of hiking up and down jungle hills, with snack/fruit breaks (amazing fresh tropical fruits that will give you extra jungle energy for the hike!
Your guide will look for special wildlife, trees and plants and explain all the interesting and amazing facts about the rainforest, wildlife and local flora and fauna.
For a simple lunch in the jungle (local Indonesian dish), we will stop at a place at the Camping Ground with a beautiful view suitable for a good photo spot.
Before or after lunch you can also enjoy natural river bathing in the clear and fresh forest, a truly beautiful place in nature!
The journey continues for about 3 more hours....continuing to look for lying animals and especially the lying Sumatran orangutan. Orangutans perform very interesting daily activities because they share 97% of their DNA with us.
In the end you will return to Ketambe village by walking through the forest. Don't miss this fun in the Ketambe forest of Gunung Leuser National Park!
